Czech Art Deco Bracelet c.1920s
A fine example of Czechoslovak Art Deco jewelry from the 1920s, this bracelet features eight ornately cast silver-plated links, each centred with a vivid molded coral rose in early celluloid — a material highly regarded at the time for its capacity to capture organic detail and rich colour.
Encircling each rose are four old-cut style faceted glass stones, imitating the brilliance and cut of antique diamonds. The symmetrical openwork design combines geometric precision with botanical elements, reflecting the evolving aesthetic of early Art Deco.
Unsigned, as was typical of many Czech export pieces of the interwar period, but firmly attributed based on materials, craftsmanship, and stylistic characteristics.
