Seigneur Cigarette Case & Pocket Lighter
Crafted in England, this elegant cigarette case and integrated pocket lighter pair refined Art Deco styling with ingenious functionality. The lighter, discreetly nestled into the side of the case, features a sliding mechanism that allows it to be removed and used independently — a marvel of compact engineering.
The Seigneur design was patented by E. Bernhardt in England circa 1938, though this particular example likely dates from the 1940s or 1950s. Both the lighter and the case are marked with the “Seigneur” name and patent number 479739, alongside a clear “Made in England” stamp, confirming its authentic British manufacture.
